Former Fall guitarist and frontwoman with The Adult Net and Brit & The Extraciated Brix Smith has recently recorded an album, 'Valley of the Dolls', under her own name. On the album, which Smith has described as having a "dystopian California" vibe, she worked with Killing Joke bass player and producer Youth. It was recorded in Spain and remotely from her bedroom in Shoreditch, East London, during lockdown. Brix Smith has been previewing songs from the forthcoming album on her latest set of dates as support to Public Image Limited. These photographs of Brix Smith were taken by Andrew Twambley on June 6th at a gig at The Ritz in Manchester.
