intro
Andrew Twambley takes photographs of New Jersey hard rock band Skid Row at the Ritz in Manchester.
One of the leading hard rock bands of the late 1980s/early 1990s, New Jersey group Skid Row achieved massive success with their first two albums, 'Skid Row' (1989) and 'Slave to the Grind' (1991). The group's more recent albums, 'Subhuman Race (1995), 'Thickskin' (2003) and 'Revolutions per Minute' (2006), and EPs 'United World Rebellion: Chapter One' (2013) and 'Rise Of The Damnation Army - United World Rebellion: Chapter Two' (2014), have continued to attract them a hardcore following. Skid Row's current line-up consists of their fourth singer ZP Theart, who joined the band in 2016; original members Dave Sabo (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Rachel Bolan (bass, backing vocals) and Scotti Hill lead guitar, backing vocals), and also Rob Hammersmi, their drummer since 2010 They are currently working on a new album which will be the final release in the 'United World Rebellion' series. These photographs of Skid Row were takenn by Andrew Twambley on the first date of a short British tour at the Ritz in Manchester on January 18th. Photos by Andrew Twambley http://twambley.com/
