Andrew Twambley photographs rising singer-songwriter Emily Capell at a show at the Ritz in Manchester.
Emily Capell is a singer-songwriter from North West London and has been described. with her socially-conscious lyrics, as "the missing link between Lilyy Allen and Billy Bragg." Capell, who has been playing solo since her teens, won much acclaim for early singles such as 2014's 'Who Killed Smiley Culture?'and, now in her mid-20s, has just released her Mod-influenced debut album, 'Combat Frock'. She spent October playing her first major UK in support of the Selecter. These photographs of the Selecter were taken by Andrew Twambley at one of those gigs at the Manchester Ritz on the 25th October. Photos by Andrew Twambley www.twambley.com
