intro
Second single from Coldplay's 'X and Y', the second greatest selling album of all time
This is the second single from 'X and Y',the second greatest selling album of all time! And Coldplay managed to achieve that in one week too. 'Fix You' is a decent enough song. It picks up when the guitars kick their way in two and a half minutes in. Coldplay fans finally get to hear the other members sing too. Ooh, the excitement of it all ! 'The World Turned Upside Down' is a moody little beast. It has an Echo and the Bunnymen tinge to it, which agrees with me more, but Chris Martin unfortunately still sings in his usual one note manner. A live version of 'Pour Me', which was recorded at the Hollywood Bowl, is intense, but in a bad way. The guitars and drums are well played, but it just sounds very dark and as black as the night.
