intro
Andrew Twambley photographs gothic rock act the Fields of the Nephilim at the Ritz in Manchester.
One of the leading and most durable gothic rock groups, the Fields of the Nephilim's music also contains elements of hard rock, heavy metal and psychedelia rock. The band, who have recorded five albums including 'Dawnrazor' (1987), 'The Nephilim' (1988), 'Elizium'(1990) and more recently 'Fallem' (2002) and 'Mourning Son' (2005). are renowned for singer and sole original member Carl McCoy's growled vocals and their dense, bass-driven sound. These photographs of the Fields of the Nephilim were taken by Andrew Twambley at a show on a short UK tour at the Ritz in Manchester on the 29th October. Photos by Andrew Twambley www.twambley.com
