Madness - Photoscapes

intro

Andrew Twambley takes photographs of Madness at a sold-out how at the Arena in Manchester.

One of the best known of all British acts, Madness have during their four decade career had fifteen singles reach the UK top ten, which include ‘One Step Beyond’, ‘Baggy Trousers’, 'Embarrassment' and ‘It Must Be Love’, a UK number one single in ‘House of Fun’ and released eleven studio albums. The London-formed group, which currently consists Suggs (lead and backing vocals), Mike Barson (piano, organ), Chris Foreman (guitar, keyboard arrangements), Mark Bedford (bass, double bass, Lee Thompson (saxophone) and Daniel Woodgate (drums), have played a UK arena tour every December in recent years. These photographs of Madness were taken exclusively for Pennyblackmusic by Andrew Twambley at a sold-out show at the Manchester Arena on the 7th December.
