intro

Advance highlights album from Pink Floyd for forthcoming eighteen-disc box set which will focus on their later years

Pink Floyd are currently putting the finishing touches to a eighteen-disc box set covering the post-Roger Waters years. They were and are perfectionists - so this will be quite an impressive piece of work when it finally appears later in 2020. But, meantime, they are releasing an advance 'highlights' album with about eighty minutes-worth of the key songs from an era that was probably the band's least celebrated period. As ever, their musicianship and originality are stunning throughout and this shorter advance album might be enough to satisfy their more casual admirers. Definitely one of the most competent productions around - and well worth purchasing!
