Darren Aston photographs UK indie group the Charlatans the O2 Academy in Liverpool
One of the most best known of all indie rock bands, the Charlatans have met with massive success since first forming in the West Midlands in 1989. There have been twelve hit albums including the much acclaimed 'The Charlatans' (9950, 'Tellin' Stories'(19970 and this year's 'Modern Nature'. These black-and-white photographs were taken on their latest UK tour by Darren Aston at the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 18th December and show front man Tim Burgess on exultant form.
