Pleasant but unremarkable debut album from British producer and electronic artist, Sorrow
Downbeat leftfield excursions of all sorts on Sorrow's debut lead to it becoming a warm bubblebath of sound. Better though than muzak, 'Dreamscape' knows no arresting moments - the album excels in lazy beats with sound effects that won't even scare a rabbit. The loveliness verges close to new age garage and dubstep. Rather tellingly, vocal contributions come from a singer called CoMa. Well-produced, friendly and crispy, it, however, lacks composition. The tracks soon soon become repeat jobs, and 'Dreamscape' proves to be pleasant but unremarkable listening.
