intro
Excellent new single from loud New York-based psychedelic shoegazing group, A Place to Bury Strangers
'I'll Know I'll See You' is the latest single from my current favourite new band A Place to Bury Strangers, whose last single destroyed two record pressing plants because it was so loud. 'I Know I'll See You' is one of the stand out tracks from their self-titled debut album. Reminiscent of the Cure during their 'Faith' period, it is very haunting and Goth in its sound and has a vocal from singer Oliver Ackermann that is very much like the Jesus and Mary Chain's s Jim Reid. The B side is a Clapp remix, which sounds even more 80's flavoured, and is like a New Order or Depeche Mode remix of that period. Both tracks work wonders for me.
