intro
Andrew Twambley photographs iconic American rockers Blue Oyster Cult at a show at Manchester Academy.
Iconic rockers Blue Oyster Cult formed in 1967, and still features Buck Dharma – 9lead guitar, vocals) and Eric Bloom (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), both of whom have played in the band since the 1960s, as well as more recent recruits Danny Miranda (bass guitar, backing vocals. Jules Radino (drums, percussion) and Richie Castellano (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals). Blue Oyster Cult are best known for their bestselling 1975 fourth album 'Agents of Fortune' and its hit single '(Don't Fear] the Reaper', and, despite not having released an album since 2011's 'Curse of the Hidden Mirror', remain a huge live act. These photographs of Blue Oyster Cult were taken on the 1st March at the Manchester Academy on a recent UK tour. Photos by Andrew Twambley http://twambley.com/
