Spoken word synth pop on new download only single from durable indie group the Vichy Government, who are about to release their third album

The Vichy Government are now Filthy Little Angels’s longest serving band, having released various records and downloads with them. ‘My Mail Order Bride’ is only available as a download. The title track has a spoken word vocal, and is backed with synth pop beats. ‘Bothered’ is as slow as Tindersticks, and, a song about not being bothered, works well within its own limits. The band will be releasing their third album shortly.
