Hello and welcome to the 25th Anniversary edition of the Pennyblackmusic Magazine. We are sometimes asked why we have managed to keep going so long. Part of that is undoubtedly down to sheer belligerence on my behalf, and possibly an inability to know when to stop. Part of that is down to our writing and photographic team, several of whom have been with us almost as long as the site has been going, and remain absolutely passionate

Hello and welcome to the 25th Anniversary edition of the Pennyblackmusic Magazine. We are sometimes asked why we have managed to keep going so long. Part of that is undoubtedly down to sheer belligerence on my behalf, and possibly an inability to know when to stop. Part of that is down to our writing and photographic team, several of whom have been with us almost as long as the site has been going, and remain absolutely passionate and committed to listening to new music. Most of all, however, it is down to our webmaster Richard Banks, He has kept Pennyblackmusic developing as technology has progressed, and has got us out of every crisis of which there have been a few. Without him, we would be lost. Thank you to Kimberly Bright, Steev Burgess, Malcolm Carter, Adam Coxon, Nicky Crewe, Julie Cruickshank, Nick Dent-Robinson, Dixie Ernill, Dave Goodwin, Zena Greig, Tommy Gunnarsson, Robert Hadley, Fiona Hutchings, Adrian Janes, Steve Kinrade, Richard Lewis, Eoghan Lyng, Philamonjaro, Mark Rowland, Maarten Schiethart. Lisa Torem, Andrew Twambley, Cila Warncke and Denzil Watson., all of whom contributed to this edition. Thank you to all of our writers past and present for getting us to this milestone, and special thanks to Richard, without whom none of this would be possible. This magazine is dedicated to the memories of our writers Keith How (1950-2021), Mary O'Meara (1966-2017) and Anthony Strutt (1962 -2018), who are much missed and never forgotten. Thank you as always for reading Pennyblackmusic. John Clarkson Magazine Editor www.pennyblackmusic.co.uk
