Blur star Alex James has now announced some of the acts who will appear at his Big Feastival to be held at the Britpop bassist's farm at Kingham, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire over the bank holiday weekend from 25 – 27 August this year. Topping the bill will be pop sensation Sigrid, singer Tom Grennan and indie chart-toppers Blossoms. Others include former Spice Girl Mel C, Rick Astley, The Vaccines, Example, Freya Ridings, Katy B and Baby Queen. DJ sets will include those by Faithless and Hot Chip and some sessions from host Alex James himself. As usual, Alex James will host the event. He said, “I really look forward to welcoming everyone back to the farm this year. Big Feastival just gets bigger and better year on year and it is the perfect way for families and friends to spend their August bank holiday. More great acts will be announced in the weeks ahead and I believe 2023 will see our best line-up ever!” Additional attractions will include Justin Fletcher and the BBC's YolanDa's Band Jam for younger revellers plus celebrity farmer and BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson who will be bringing some animals from his Cotswold Farm Park, just over the Gloucestershire border, offering children the chance of a face-to-face meeting with livestock! The ever-popular Silent Disco will return as will Alex James's Cheese Hub, offering drinks and delicious locally-produced cheesy snacks. This year festival-goers will be able to arrive on the evening of Thursday 24 August, allowing the opportunity to set up camp ready for action the following day.
