intro
Darren Aston photographs pioneering synth-pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark over two galleries at Le Bataclan in Paris.
Seminal synth-pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) released 'The Punishment of Luxury', their thirteenth album in September of last year to much critical acclaim. The group, which was founded by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys in 1978, and also features Martin Cooper and Stuart Kershaw, has spent much of the time since then touring to promote it, playing dates in the United Kingdom, mainland Europe and the United States. These stunning black and white photographs of Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, which we are presenting over two galleries, were taken by Darren Aston at Le Bataclan in Paris on on the 12th February.
