intro
Our Website of the Month is the website for SAVI, a Scottish-based charity for victims of child abuse, which holds an annual charity concert in Glasgow
SAVI http://www.savi.co.nr/ is a Scottish-based charity, set up initially to support children/young people and vulnerable adults who have been raped or sexually abused, and which now supports children who have endured all types of abuse. Although it originally stood for Sexual Assault Victims Initiative, it is now known simply as SAVI Kids. As part of its fundraising, SAVI holds an annual charity concert, Savifest. This year's concert, which is being organised by Pennyblackmusic writer and the co-owner of the record label Neon Tetra Tony Gaughan, will take place at the Barrowland in Glasgow on Saturday 13th December. Tickets are available in advance from Tickets Scotland http://www.tickets-scotland.com and cost £10. It will include sets from Esperanza, Colonol Mustard and the Dijon 5, Feet of Clay, the Underground Jam and forthcoming Pennyblackmusic interviewees Matinée and Big Hogg, and will be hosted By Jim Gellatly from Radio XFM.
