intro
Excellent double A-sided vinyl single from former Soft Cell front man Marc Almond, which was produced by Bowie producer Tony Visconti
The former Soft Cell frontman returns with a double A-sided vinyl single, which has been produced by Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T,Rex, Morrissey) . Almond claims that it was one of the highlights of his career and a lifetime ambition to be working with the legendary producer Both tracks are typically Almond hallmarked, ‘Burn Bright’ is an aching ballad reminiscent of his Willing Sinners phase, and the flip side, ‘The Dancing Marquis’, which was inspired by a self-indulgent earl, is more upbeat with it infectious chorus, Both tracks on the single feature lavish string arrangements. It appears in purple vinyl limited run of one thousand with a gatefold sleeve, and a full album follows next spring.
