Marie Hazelwood takes photographs of indie folk trio Daughter at a show at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral

Daughter is an indie folk group from London. Originally the solo project of Elena Tonra, Daughter has now expanded to a trio with the addition of guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella. After releasing three EPs between 2010 and 2011, Daughter signed to 4AD and released their debut album, ‘If You Leave’, which has won the trio much critical acclaim with its atmospheric dark chamber-folk sound. These photographs of Daughter were taken by Marie Hazelwood for Pennyblackmusic at a show at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral as part of a sell-out twelve-date European tour on the 22nd April.
