The fourth track, 'Press Play' , features Acafool and it brings the first notable moment on this rather dire breakbeat overdose of an album. Desperately aiming for chart status, the latter stages of 'Get Me Out' simply are toe-cringing. The album soaks up some of the quality heard on a few of Aquasky's singles released in advance of 'Raise the Devil'. Things only get going with the James Brown-ish groove of ‘Superbad’ where the Ragga Twins come to mash up the party. After 'Superbad' the shortage of ideas is, however, painful to observe. For all that in the past Aquasky has done, I cannot help feeling that 'Raise the Devil' would be better renamed as 'Caress the Kitten'.
