Infectiously catchy radio friendly electro indie pop on new single from Danish group, Kind of Girl

Danish four piece piece Kind of Girl release their new EP ‘Lonely in a Modern Way’ this summer and have the potential to work their way into all our heads with their radio friendly electro indie. They mix pop hooks with dirty, slightly distorted bass lines and layers of guitar and synth sounds to give their songs a really full sound. It is superbly produced and has a really slick sound to it without sounding over the top or lacking in any personality. The sweet vocal melodies of Rune Buhr mixed with the electronic yet earthy sounding tunes recall Dubstar, but only without the southern twang. The band have a real indie feel to them when you hear their other songs it is their pop elements that make their songs sound so good and set them apart from other similar acts. They have hit that balance of catchy but not cheesy. This is warm and beautiful music and look forward to hearing a lot more from them.
