Matt Williams shoots Eastern-influenced Los Angeles-based hard rock band Boy Hits Car at the Boiler Room in Guildford

Boy Hits Car are a four piece American hard rock band from Los Angeles in California. The group have to date released three albums, 'My Animal' (1998), 'Boy Hits Car' (2001) and 'The Passage' (2005) and, having been through various line-up changes, currently consists of Cregg Rondell (vocals, 12 string guitar), Dusty Hunt (guitar), Bill Gower (bass guitar) and Jonny Ransom (drums). Boy Hits Car are notorious for merging their hard rock sound with Eastern influences, and Randell's angst-ridden, thoughtful lyrics. Matt Williams photographed Boy Hits Car exclusively for Pennyblackmusic on the 24th November at a date at the Boiler Room in Guildford on a three week UK tour
