Albert Hammond hasn't played a gig in 24 years now. These days he is mostly known for his career as a songwriter and for being the dad of the guitarist in the Strokes. This tea time set last for about an hour. We drink our free beer and wine and soak in his back catalogue . He also plays a few new numbers from 'Revolution of the Heart', his first album of original material in two decades. The set concludes with a medley of his better known songs , which include 'Breathe', 'The Free Electric Band' and his most famous song of all. 'Why Does It Never Rain in Southern California ?' A cool guy still at 61, and a great guitarist and songwriter !
