Official debut solo single from Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley, which proves to be a refreshing change of direction

The new single by Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley is a great up tempo indie song which is aptly named 'Summer'. It is Charlotte's first official solo single, and comes after the downloadable 'Kim Wilde' which came out in June. Some might say that Charlotte's single has the fiery essence of Ash. That's true, but don’t let this fool you. This is in all other senses a really refreshing departure, adding a catchy riff to piano. Yes, piano !!! I eagerly look forward to the album,'Grey Will Fade', from which this is drawn and which is also due out shortly.
