Marie Hazelwood photographs Liverpool-based alternative/rock band Sound of Guns at the Chester Rocks festival

Liverpool-based alternative rock/grunge band from Liverpool have been playing to increasingly large audiences since their much acclaimed second album, ‘Angels and Enemies’, came out in March. The group, which consists of Andrew Metcalfe (vocals), Lee Glynn (guitar), Nathan Crowley (guitar), John Coley (bass) and Simon Finlay (drums), played a headline tour to promote it in March and April. These photographs by Marie Hazelwood were taken on the 16th June at the two day Chester Rocks festival, which takes place at Chester Racecourse, and found them midway up a biill which also consisted of the Courteneers, Cast, the View and the Rifles.
