intro
Intelligent dance pop on third single from Northampton-based band Maps
'Don't Fear' is the third single from Northampton-based band Maps and again appears on very limited 10 inch only. 'Don't Fear' is music for the mind and starts off with organ grooves and a vocal from main man James which is both haunting and charming at the same time. As the track moves forward, it develops more of a dance flavour, not the sort that you just mindlessly slam along to, either but something far more intelligent. It makes you want to put a smile on your face and ponder on the future. The other side features a remix of the title track, 'Don't Fear (On the Wall Mix). It is cleaner and more organic in tone ,and has a much bigger sound and is more dance flavoured. For those cold winter nights in front of us, 'Don't Fear' leaves us with a warm glow.
