intro
Compulsive, highly danceable breakcore electro from Oakland, California's Kid606, the alias of musician Miguel Depedro, released on his own Tigerbeat6 Records
Cleverly stretching his paws onto the beathead market that we came to know of as tech house, Kid606 reaches the summit of Mountain Dance on what might be considered as being his farewell to breakcore! Pause. Mister Tigerbeat6 himself unleashes onto the market his smartest effort yet. Even while leaving out three tracks on the vinyl release from the compact disc sequence, Kid606 continues to raise the noise. Still with testerone levels high enough to exclude Kid606 from participating in any sporting event, 606's bumpy ride of blasts of house music lashes on indiscriminantly. Side two, track one is 'Chickenfight' and it's primal dance music; full of vengeance, crammed with beats and relentlessly whiplashing the dance floor. The CD version on London distributor Cargo's Very Friendly Records bring on an even more danceable noise. Raising the alarms from the very start of 'Let It Rock', 'Chickenfight' then comes on second; pounding mercilessly and pouring out more sweat. See your GP should you've not been won over at this stage.
