Public Service Broadcasting are a London-based electronic/prog rock duo consisting of J. Willgoose, Esq. on guitar, banjo, other stringed instruments, samplings and electronic instruments, and Wrigglesworth on drums, piano and electronic instruments. The group, an instrumental outfit who first formed in 2009, combine their music with samples from public information films, archive footage and propaganda material, and have now released two albums, 2013’s ‘Inform - Educate – Entertain’ and last year’s ‘The Race for Space’, which retells the story of the American and Soviet space race from 1957-1972. These photographs of Public Service Broadcasting were taken at a gig at the O2 Academy in Liverpool.
