intro
Marie Hazelwood takes photographs of new Liverpool indie rock band, Atlas Eyes, who will shortly be releasing their debut EP
Based in Liverpool, Atlas Eyes are a five-piece band creating a blend of styles and influences ranging from Beck to Bombay Bicycle Club. Joe Jackson, the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, has been writing since he was seventeen, but only came into fronting a band when collaborating with lead guitarist Andrian. Andrian Sharples has been playing guitar since he was eleven. Together, Joe and himself brought Atlas Eyes together, and have found the perfect partners in crime to make their dreams a reality. Katie is a extremely talented bassist and vocalist, Elliot knows how to work himself around keys and Alex the drummer is well... Alex! He's known for his colourful background in the music scene behind the drums. 'UNF', a track from their upcoming EP has been released by BBC Introducing and they have plans for touring the UK. Keep your eyes peeled!
