New Pennyblackmusic photographer Catherine Christofis photographs dance punk/grimecore act Hadouken! at a show in their native London
Hadouken! are a dance punk/grimecore act from London, and which consists of singer James Smith, his girlfriend and synth player Alice Spooner, guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The group, who have become renowned for the ferocious, snarling energy of their music, have released records on various labels including Atlantic Records and Ministry of Sound. Their third and latest album, ‘Every Weekend’, which came out in March, has come out on their own label, Surface Noise Records. These photographs of Hadouken! by new Pennyblackmusic photographer Catherine Christofis were taken on show on April 25th to promote ‘Every Weekend’ at the Electric Ballroom in their native London during a UK tour.
