‘Oblige’ is the second single from Leeds four piece I Concur, and only available on limited-to-500 copies seven inch vinyl and as a download, carries on that great city's tradition which has given us Iliketrains of late. ‘Oblige’ starts off sounding like a jangly country rock number. As it warms up it heads straight into nu gaze territory. Better still is its B side, ‘Captors’, which, much faster and more hard edged, has a post punk groove that recalls the Chameleons and Interpol and is very worthy of attention.
