intro
Over sweet and sugary compilation from American husband and wife duo Viva Voce, which compiles together material from all three of their albums
On this compilation album the Viva Voce duo sounds a little to eager to please. Granted, singer Anita Robinson has the voice of an angel and with husband Kevin, she churns out several memorable tunes on 'Viva Voce Loves You'. The opening track and new single 'Wrecking Ball' hints at a high production level, yet to some, the handclapping and catchiness will be a little too much. Viva Voce have chosen tracks from their albums, 2004's 'Lovers, Lead The Way!, 2005's 'The Heat Can Melt Your Brain' and 'Get Yr Blood Sucked Out' which came out late last year. 'From the Devil Himself' heads more in the right direction, finding a neat balance between bubblegum and rotten candy. The ultimate in happy loving couples' pop music comes in 'High Highs' where you'll feel the urge to run into a field and start picking daisies. 'Loves You'is rather sweet and nice. You have been warned! Meanwhile it remains unclear why this 'Best of' had to see the light of day.
