intro
Excellent new single on the Wichita label from popular London-based art rockers Bloc Party, who have their debut album out at the beginning of next year
This year must be Bloc Party's. With 3 excellent singles in a stretch this, their second for Wichita with their debut album scheduled for the beginning of 2005, is the best of all of them. 'Helicopter' goes from itchy bass plucking to whacking guitars while the structure of the song matches the rotating buzz, as promised in the title. Bloc Party have yet to do wrong. Brightest Hopes of the Top 40's Lower Echelons, Bloc Party are like a little powerhouse already..
