intro
Second single from Bloc Party's 'Intimacy' album, which comes with a fine set of remixes
'Talons' is the second single from 'Intimacy' and this time there is no new song on the B-Side. There's a bumpy, clubby pop mix from Phones on the 7-inch that cuts out a bit of the usual whine of Kélé's vocals, probably in order not to shy off the Ibiza punters. More adolescent fun on the XXXChange remix comes together with the Moody Boyz version which is, as might be expected, the most original remix on the twelve inch and CD single. Most of all, the dubby Moody Boyz effects, with slices and echoes of sitar, melt best with the slower 'Talons'.
