intro

Debut rlease from new pop punk band with "distinct but catchy sound"

A distinct but catchy sound drives the Birmingham band, Crazyface’s new single ‘Brickwall’. Combining the melodious nature of pop punk with decks and scrawly, wiry vocals , the group's alternative musical vision will be savoured and enjoyed by a great number of people. The opening track, ‘Brickwall’, is crafted intelligently, but it is not, however, as strong musically as the two B-sides. Unique in structure though, its use of scratching on the decks adds a secondary layer to the music which obviates Crazyface’s desire to blend their already well-developed sound with an experimental edge, an attitude that is becoming increasingly more popular in the music industry nowadays. The second track, ‘Software’, helps to build Crazyface’s image away from a pop punk sound, with a more rock-orientated style which is constructed around guitaring that evokes memories of past guitar greats, now up-dated into the modern world. The last track, ‘Dealing with Strangers’, ends the single superbly, continuing on from ‘Software’, and launches the band yet further towards doubtless eventual and much deserved increased popularity.
