Andrew Twambley photographs singer-songwriter and guitarist Anma Calvi in a headline show at a new two-day Wirral-based festival Future Yard.
Three times nominated for the Mercury Prize and once for a Brit Award, LOndon-born singer-songwriter Anna Calvi is heralded as being one of the most innnovative musicians in Britain wth her unique virtuoso guitar-playing. Anna Calvi has released three albums to date, 'Annn Calvi' (2011), 'One Breath' (2013) and 'Hunter' (2018), and has recently gained a new audience by providing the soundtrack to the latest series of 1920s gangster thriller 'Peaky Blinders'. On Saturday 24th August she headlined Future Yard, a new two day Wirral-based festivaL which wwas organised by local culture magazine Bido Lito and also featured Bill Ryder-Jones and several Merseyside acts.
