Sincere but dull and unimaginative debut album from German indie band Cascade Lakes

Cascade Lakes are easily detectable as being continental cowboys who gallop like talentless misfits through a blend of a dozen or so clichés from indie rock, Americana, adult orientated FM Radio rock and motorway muzak. The nonsensical words at times sound like poetry, but are incomprehensible to those who know English. Cascade Lakes make a complete tosspot of their lyrics. In conjunction with the cheapskate jamboree style music , this debut CD left me absolutely cold.
