Operating from their world-wide Ancona HQ in Italy, duo C'mon Tigre self-release their eponymous debut album, which is being distributed through the African Tape label. Their punk antics set aside, C'mon Tigre perform freeform funk with elegant ethnic touches of avant garde on this rather delicious and versatile album. C'mon Tigre's full global trot includes stops at most continents, hence the many guest musicians being invited to play on this album and their ever so many disparate contributions. Pleasant vocals with an apt mildness in the instrumentation merge wonderfully well on this fine debut. From breezy brass orchestrations onto tickles of magic, C'mon Tigre absolutely know how to please the crowds.
