Marie Hazelwood photographs young British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg at a gig at the Liverpool O2 Academy
Jake Bugg is young British singer-songwriter who, while still in his teens, has drawn critical comparisons with acts as diverse as Donovan, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix and Oasis. Bugg, who is from Nottingham, had a chart hit with his single of last year, ‘Lightning Bolt’, and won much acclaim for his eponymously-titled debut album which came out in October. He also toured with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds last year. These photographs were taken at a show at the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 12th February by Marie Hazelwood.
