The epic dimensions of the works of Dan Haywood are summed up on this seven inch 45. 'John's Shoes' is the Hawaiian shirt for this folk pub coupling. Steel guitar slides like palm tree shoots on the flip as well. 'Superquarry' balances on the verge of rumba and skiffle. And I'm afraid Dan uses the Jeremy Hunt word, so even when 'Superquarry' would make the finest and hippest Radio6 playlist entry, it's not likely to.
