intro
Excitable and unpretentious new single from the Kills, which has been taken from their recent 'Midnight Boom' album
When the Kills are not taking up column inches in every celebrity obsessed gossip magazines going and dating coked up supermodels, they bide their time by releasing rocking quirky indie music Taken from latest album, 'Midnight Boom', 'Tape Song' is an excitable little gem which shows that music doesn’t have to be pretentious to sound good. Probably the best track on the album, 'Tape Song' is a excellent single choice and has been a mainstay on this writer’s best of for the last few months. Alison Mosshart, in the vein of many front women like Kim Deal, follows a tradition of confident cool female vocalists. So just ignore the tabloid rubbish that follows this band around, forget about the Kate Moss’ doing blow at Nelson Mandela’s house, and tune into the Kills.
