intro
Superb first single of original material in fourteen years from the reformed Gang of Four
This is the first new material from the band since their remix project of a few years back. It is being has been released only as a download and a limited to 500 copies only 7 inch single. Written by Andy Gill and Jon King, it is a fine example of what they do and do very well. 'Second Life' is full of chunky bass, big guitar riffs and massive drums, which hit you like a slap in the face from the time the needle hits the black vinyl. The B side is a remix, and again it is a perfect groove this time of the dub variety. Welcome back, guys !
