Decent new single from London-based the Indigo Road, which features as a guest vocalist Heidi Jo Hines, the duaghter of Moody Blues and Wings guitarist Denny Laine

The Indigo Road is a project put together by Mark Herbert, who then chooses different vocalists to help him sing his songs. Heidi Jo Hines, who appears on this single, is the daughter of Denny Laine, the original founder member of Birmingham band, the Moody Blues, and who then went on to form Wings with Paul McCartney. The tracks on this are only available as a download, 'Simple' is sung as a duet, and is backed by some lush folk guitar, while 'Goodbye to You' involves a band and is much darker and meaner, with killer guitars, and machine gun like patterns on drums. The vocals by Heidi this time come over sound like a dark Portishead or a savage PJ Harvey. It is a far superior track to 'Simple'
