Androgynous, but appealing electro pop on new single from London-based group Flykkiller

Ever seen Shirley Manson, Ladytron and Alison Goldfrapp in the same room together? Nor us. That’s because doomy electro ice vixens don’t ask their stylists for a change of image; they just mutate,Doctor Who-style, every half-decade or so. This year’s model, Pati 'Flykkiller' Yang, is Debbie Harry-blonde and Nico-glacial, who parades wantonly around like Brett Suede circa his early 90s, ‘Man ? Woman ? Goat ? Whoever you are, just take me’ heyday – and has made a record that sounds like Girls Aloud just kidnapped the Bravery’s only memorable keyboard riff and chucked itinto a wrestling bout with Moloko. Don’t know about you but that happens to cover all OUR bases.
