intro
At the Soho Revue Bar in London Anna Gudaniec shoots cinematic new Oxford group at the launch show for 'The Projectionist', their debut EP
A Silent Film, Xtra Mile Recording’s newest signings, released their debut EP ‘The Projectionist’ on 30th July 2007. The group have an epic cinematic vibe, and merge their classical/electronic roots with a rock and pop sound. Singer songwriter and pianist Robert Stevenson performs his narrative lyrics with a scrap book at his side, images of which are then projected onto a screen behind the band. The other members of this Oxford group are guitarist Lewis Jones, bassist Ali Hussain and drummer Spencer Walker. These photographs were taken by Anna Gudaniec at the London launch show for 'The Projectionist' at the Soho Revue Bar on August 2nd.
