intro
New 7' vinyl only 70's country-influenced single from Primal Scream
'Sometimes I feel So Lonely' starts off with a very sad country vibe and has a laid back pace, so laid back it could have been recorded in 1972. Bobby Gillespie's vocals are clean and crispy, and he is making an effort here, which he doesn't seem to do live anymore. This is a re-recorded version backed by a children's choir and a lush production. It is an absolutely lovely song. The B side is a new track, 'Gamblin' Bar Room Blues'. Its is set in the mid west in a bar, and tells of drinking bootleg whisky at the time of cowboys and getting more and more wasted to the edge where there could be a bar room fight.
