Claire Sproule is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Ireland. All 11 songs on this self-titled debut album will appeal to those cheesy romantic couples out there and bored housewives that love Heart FM. It is music that is very easy to listen to and which won't upset anyone. It is pleasant enough in a Norah Jones/Amy Whitehouse manner with soft-on-the-ear vocals and elegant backing, but doesn't break any new ground whatsoever. Claire Sproule is, however, quite pretty.
