intro
7" vinyl only release for new single, the first from their forthcoming third album, for acclaimed Birmingham electronica act Broadcast
Broadcast’s new single has only been issued on black 7 inch vinyl. ‘America’s Boy’, the A side, is very electronica-based, and, unlike past Broadcast songs, has a hard edge to it and doesn’t feature 60’s style vocals from front woman Trish Keenan. The B side ‘Tender Buttons’, which is also the title of Broadcast’s forthcoming third album, is the much stronger track as it is guitar based, has an elegant groove, and sounds like an experimental Velvet Underground but with some classical vibes added to great effect. It is the far stronger track and a great return for Broadcast.
