Atlantic Dash - Leave It All Behind
Label: Fierce Panda
Format: 7"

intro

Ash-influenced punk-pop on the Fierce Panda label from debuting British act, Atlantic Dash

Yet another punk-pop offering from the Fierce Panda production line, Atlantic Dash serve up a spritely double A side. 'Leave It All Behind' is an upbeat affair that pays homage to Irish heroes Ash to such an extent that it wouldn’t be out of place on their current album. This, of course, is not a bad thing. It’s just shows good taste, but perhaps a lack of originality. 'What’s New' is an ideal flip. Gone is this hurried bluster of 'Leave It All Behind' and in its place a more subdued, almost lighters in the air slowie. Obviously (and thankfully), we are not talking Celine Dion, but more of a 'Wild Horses'-era  Suede. Worth a listen for sure and if nothing else it will probably be a collector’s item before the record ends
