The Beta Band once had a fifth member. Lone Pigeon is that person's name and he has been acting secretively. On the 'Schoozzzmmii' album no tracklisting is given and instead you're supposed to check the titles to the songs from a webpage. Pretty much of a schmoe act indeed, but the music is not as crap as you might gather. Tracks which were first recorded as Beta Band ideas, presumably a total of 500, are amongst those that were selected for 'Schoozzzmmii' and it features your archtypical Beta Band hash of snippets and sounds. Some sheer intellectual pleasure can be derived from this album. Eerie sketches clash with ethno-correct jingles and while the fun lasts, you'll overcome the artistic distance.
