Clairecords are a cool label, and most things that I have heard on this label have been great. Airiel's 'Winks and Kisses' is wonderful. Each songs shimmers gracefully and returns me to the shoegazing era of 1991. The guitars are distorted and wavy. The drums and bass are throbbing and the vocals are reminiscent of Slowdive and Kitchens of Distinction. What more do you want from a band ? Buy it and be seduced forever. With vocals like these you really want to believe in rock 'n' roll and the human race again.
